Have You Ever...
*Have you ever fed a lover with just your hands?
Closed your eyes and trusted. Just trusted?
Have you ever thrown a fistful of glitter in the air?
Have you ever looked fear in the face and said ' I just dont care' ?
It's only half past the point of no return
The tip of the iceberg, The sun before the burn
The thunder before the lightning, the breath before the phrase
Have you ever felt this way?
Have you ever hated yourself for staring at the phone?
Your whole life waiting on the ring to prove your not alone
Have you ever been touched so gently, you had to cry?
Have you ever invited a stranger to come inside?
Have you ever wished for an endless night?
Lassoed the moon and stars and pulled that rope tight
Have you ever held your breath and asked yourself,
will it ever get better than tonight?
Have you ever felt stagnant? That is how I am feeling right now. Stagnant, and well, as if life is just passing me by. I want to go. I want to see. I want to do. But mostly, I think I want to .............love, er um.... I mean live.
I have numerous conversations with people this week about getting stuck in a rut/routine. One fellow has moved frequently and always returns "home". The other packs up all his belongings and moves every 3 years. I wish I had this kind of courage. Because right now, I just feel like I am living the same week, over and over...
Sorry folks, just going through a mild depression.....

One of the fortunate things of my life, Terry, is that I have trusted and experienced many of the things from that song. They have at times hurt me, at times given me solace but always they have made me what I am today - for which I am thankful.
Apart from that, one of the greatest joys of my life has been your friendship. I thank you for it and I cherish it.
I wish for you all that you could wish for yourself.
Thanks Indy, I too have lived many wonderful experiences..I was just doing some deep thinking after a conversation I had with a friend, and felt like I am currently missing out on a whole lot more...
I appreciate you too!!
Yeah, I've been in that "rut" before whether it's on the job or personal life. Sooner or later everybody gets a positive reaction or surprise and we all feel better ourselves.
My heart has been beaten, broken, used and had holes blown though it. So I know how you feel try some pixie dust from Tinkerbell it does the broken hearted good and changes peoples lives.
