A Monumental Moment

I just rolled over to 100k...

I tried to take a picture of the odometer, but dammit, I was in Jersey and we all know how I love to complain about the rough roads in Jersey!!

So, it only took me approximately 160 days to do it!! That averages 625 miles per day... But remember, I only work 4 days a week.... I am going to miss all that time off when I move....sigh.....

So, can you imagine driving 100, 000 miles in 9 months, much less 160 days....? At least I enjoy it, most of the time.

wow. well, at least it's not the giddy up that you're putting all the miles on! i've already put over 4k miles on the volvo and i've only had it about 2 months!! sadly, that's mostly work driving, too. sigh.

The little pony car has gotten her fair share of mileage.... At least a thousand a month per the average.. Where ever have I been driving? Must be all those Bama Trips......Seriously, I am only home 12 days a month.... but I never go anywhere.... I am at 24, 000....WTF???

That series of pictures made me giggle.

And my new car. Just hit a year and 14K. Two years ago I was putting 25K a year on my car just cruising from one kids event to the next.

Once they are both in school, I may never leave the house.

Another woman driver...this is great. From what I've read so far (which isn't a lot) it looks like you go it alone, huh?

I drive also, but with my boyfriend - we are owner-operators. If you have a chance, come on over and check out my blog.

Our truck hit a million over two years ago. We're currently at 1,270,000. I took a picture of ours also, which you can see in this post: http://bellavenere.blogspot.com/search?q=odometer

Obviously our truck is older than yours, since you're all digital an all and we just have the regular 'ol standard odometer. lol

I'm 5'8" and not by any means skinny and I always marvel when I see a little five footer like you hop out of a truck!

I look forward to reading more of your posts. Be safe on the road!

Thanks Daily Rant... Glad you stopped by. Actually, I wish I was in a Real Truck, like yourself... sigh, I miss the ol' Peterbilt...These new trucks are too cheaply made, and the creature comforts are not suitable to someone my size... I can't even get the seat close enough to the floor. So I sit sideways... What I wouldn't give to have a milk crate to sit on and remove the whole seat assembly......ha ha ha...
