BOY, Time Flies......

It is 5AM and I am sitting in the Bronx! This is where the WiFi is, so I thought I was long overdue for a post. or two....

My luck has changed dramatically... In the past few weeks, I have had no traffic delays whatsoever when it comes to running around NYC.. NONE. For example, the morning rush hour commute from Jersey onto Long Island at 8am. Normally this is a very slow going process.. In the past 3 weeks, I have been able to get from point A to point B in under 2 hours. Typically it takes 3.5.

An even better example took place about 15 minutes ago. As I understand it, the DOT in and around NYC love to do safety inspections and write up tickets! As I was crossing the TriBoro Bridge, I got flagged into an inspection site (this was a first for me in 5 years). They checked my license and paper work and sent me on my way. Had they took a closer look at the trailer, they would have noticed a few items that could have potentially merited a fine. For instance, I have a marker light that is not working, along with a turn signal.

When the officer asked where I was coming from (Queens) and where I was going to (Bronx) he giggled....It was 6 miles...... I mentioned that I sleep in Queens because it is so much safer. "Why do you say that?", he asked...

" It is just what I have been told."

He laughed again and stated that whoever told me that was correct and have a great day. NO, I did not do my normal Men In Blue flirting routine.

Anyways, my point is this.....LIFE is GREAT..

Actually, Shell, I was very nervous because of the rumors I had heard of NYC DOT, but yeah, I am sure I threw out some sweet innocent smiles.

Cece, the only parts I get to frequent are not the glamorous sites, but I could should you some lovely graffiti, like you don't see enough in Cali....
